Veritable ‘Monsoon’ of flavor hits Maynard

This traditional Indian eatery is simultaneously healthy and tasty. In fact, the L-S nutrition class frequents Monsoon thanks to a menu replete with healthy choices.

Film fest features fab fun flicks for L-S fans

L-S’s Seventh Annual Student Film Festival was held the evening of May 28, 2008. Spearheaded by media arts instructors Paul Sarapas and Ken Kimura, the event is made up of films written and created by students taking classes in beginning or advanced video production. This year eleven films were chosen to play at the Festival.

L-S triumphs at music festival

The Lincoln-Sudbury Chamber Singers, Orchestra and Concert Band won the gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively, at the MICCA Festival, held at Norwood-Coakley Middle School on the weekend of April 4th-6th.
The Chamber Singers also earned invitations to sing at Symphony Hall and, later, at New York’s legendary Carnegie Hall, under the direction of the composer John Rutter.

Fashionistas unite for cancer research

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is hosting their second L-S Fashion Show to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Tyler Cyr.
The event is endorsed by Dana-Farber, and the money raised will directly fund its cancer research programs. The show will be held at 7pm on April 11th, 2008 at the Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, MA.

LSB play preview - Production of MacBird
